362 www.casselin.com - 2024 PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW WHEN RECEIVING YOUR GOODS RECEPTION: It’s essential to check the following items: • The external packaging of the parcel has to be undamaged. • The material inside the parcel/pallet must be checked. • The compliance of the goods. IF THE DELIVERY IS IN CONFORMITY: It is necessary to date, sign and stamp the delivery note for acceptance. IF THE DELIVERY IS NOT IN CONFORMITY: It is necessary to make reserves on the delivery note in the presence of the carrier, mentioning if there are missing goods and/or damage noted. Good to know, so that the reserves made are valid: • Systematically note that the packaging is deteriorated and the precise nature of the damage caused to the goods or missing: twisted feet, bumps, scratches... Example: Damaged packaging and damaged material: Broken glass. • Do not note «packaging in good condition» or « received pending inspection”. • Do not note that the damage was noticed after opening the package, «after unpacking». If, however, you notice defective, torn, wet or other packaging, note it on the delivery note. Then, you must send a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the carrier within 48 hours mentioning the damage noted. You must also send us a copy of the letter sent to the carrier. REMINDER: • You have 15 minutes to open and check the parcel in presence of the driver, it’s the law. • If the driver doesn’t want to wait, you must write on the delivery note «the driver did not want to wait» and he must sign up the document. • No claim will be taken into account without this step. • No claim can be made without observing these instructions. We will then be unable to exchange or refund materials.
